Outdoors - There's nowhere like Aspenwood

Around the cottage is a paved path and a large gravel area interspersed with seasonal potted plants and local heathers flowering throughout the year - that is if the wandering deer allow them time to grow. The various wild flowers that grow around the cottage area at different times of the year create a marvellous, colourful environment. A cement base for easy parking is adjacent to the cottage.
A door from the lounge leads onto the private decking where you can sit and bask in the tranquillity whilst gazing over Loch Ness.
Furniture is provided for you to relax on while enjoying the views. Sit in comfort on the decking and watch the boats glide by in front of you.
The garden furniture - a large solid picnic table, bench and three chairs - is situated between the cottage and Farigaig forest with outstanding views over the loch and the mountains opposite. Perfect for relaxing.
Inquisitive deer can often be seen wandering in the grounds.
In view of the woodland location of Aspenwood we do not allow the use of barbeques.
